#15 What is an RSS feed?

At first I didn't enjoy using RSS, however after spending a bit of time looking at different items I found it to be useful and fun to use. There are various topics you can read about and keep up-to-date with such as entertainment, jokes, book reviews, movie reviews, world news and lots more. I found myself reading various articles and clicking on different links as there was alot of interesting things to read. I think it will take a little time to find different topic items that will be of interest to me both personally as well as work related items. Overall it was pretty good.

#14 Facebook

I love using Facebook, it's a great way to stay in contact with high school friends that you don't see on a regular basis and it's another way to communicate to others as well. I enjoy using the applications and games on there and posting photos, links and uploading videos for my friends to see. However, when using Facebook I think it's really important to keep your profile private and not provide too much information about yourself.

#13 Myspace

I enjoy using Myspace, i think it's a great way to talk to friends via the internet as well as dicover new things such as music. Libraries and councils are using Myspace as a way to connect with people in their area by advertising the services and programs that they provide to people. For example Myspace is a great way to promote Get Loud and Teen Game Nights.

I've used Myspace in the pass and find that it is always changing and keeping up-to-date with latest interests that myspace users may have. Many community groups have a Myspace page which was great to see, however i couldn't find any Australian High Schools with a Myspace page which was odd.

I would use Myspace both personally and professionally as it's a positive way to connect with others.

#12 Store photos online with Flickr

Flickr was fun to use. I enjoyed looking up different pictures and posting them in my blog. It's a great way to share photos with others. Hope u enjoy some of the photos I put up :)

#11 LibraryThing

Library Thing is fun to use and simply. It's a great way to encourage students to discover new books or discuss one's they have read before.

Most of the books that I added to my collection were popular whereas some were not as popular. Library Thing is also good as it gives you the chance to find books that are often difficult to find in a regular book store.

#9 Virtually Online

Second Life was very interesting as you are pretty much living another life over the internet (now i know why it's called second life lol) Its a great way to meet new people from all over the world and discover new and exciting things. What I enjoyed most about Second Life is that you are able to visit universities and learn about certain subjects. This could be a good way to provide students with creative ways to learn.

Exit Reality and World WarCraft were also interesting. However i would proberly use Second Life more often.

#8 iGoogle

I found iGoogle very interesting, there are a variety of gadgets that you can access which is great as it would appeal to many different people. iGoogle is handy for work purposes and you can also use it just for fun :) Some of the gadgets that I used were youtube, eyes, word and quotes of the day, google maps and a few others.

I think it would be exciting to work at a place such as Google as you would be able to keep up-to-date with new technology, discover interesting things via the internet and be involved in new ideas for Google.
